First day of Upward (Crazy!)

Since Mom is gone every weekend at Acquire the Fire, it is all up to Dad and I (and a few grandparents) to transport the kids to Upward games. Lets just say that my day starts slightly earlier than what I would like on Saturdays. I stayed in my bed as long as possible. Long enough that Hannah came in my room begging me to turn my alarm off. I have a bad habit of letting it go off for a really long time instead of just pressing the off button or getting up. I am afraid every Saturday is going to be like this. Oh well! There is always something going on and it normally calms down by 4:00. After the Upward craziness, there was DC cafe tonight. It went quite well and we had about 65 people. At least 30 of those were kids without adults. It was a little hectic, but fun.

Chaos

So, it has been kind of hectic lately in my life. I went to the dermatologist yesterday about the rash I had developed from using squaric acid on my outbreak of warts. The news they gave my mother and I was kind of shocking. They said I am allergic to the medicine I had used (that part isn't that shocking it was what they said next). Then they said the only thing I can do to make them go away is laser treatment. That would mean lots of money and multiple trips to St. Louis since that is the closest place they have this sort of treatment. I would possibly have to go every week or every other week. Well, lets just say mom isn't quite ready to revert to laser treatment. Were probably going to get a second opinion from another doctor in town. Just pray we can figure all this out.

Hives

So, I have been treating an outbreak of warts on my hands with this squaric acid stuff(as nasty as it sounds, you shouldn't laugh because it isn't funny) and a couple days ago I had a pretty big patch of hives on my arm. However, today my chin was itching and I asked Tara, my sister-in-law, what was on my neck. She said it was a rash and I said, "Oh no". Of course after that It started spreading to the other side of my neck and small patches moved on to my legs.  Don't really know if I want to take benedryl or not. Unfortunately it is not the no-drowsy kind. So, If I wait to use it and end up needing it tommorrow, I may fall asleep. But, I don't know if it is serious enough to use it tonight. What should I do?

Just Wait

What is it you want from my life? I am so confused right now. Jesus, can you please give me your heart. Show me where to go. I am desperate for You!! I surrendor!

Often I hear myself thinking, saying, and feeling a modified version of these words from the depths of my heart. Every time I sit down to write in my journal, this is what appears on the paper. Lots of times He tells me I am right where I need to be and to just relax. But, right now I feel Him saying, "Just wait". What does this mean? Maybe He is teaching me patience. Whatever lesson I need to learn right now, I pray I will accept it with all of my heart.

Action packed day

Quite a day! School in the morning until my piano lesson at 1:00. Then, off to work for dad.(I work as one of his secretaries two days a week). I got ready for Reality at about 5:30 and zipped off. (Because I was late). Afterwards, Matthew bought Hannah, Micah, and I a mcflurry at Mcdonalds. That made my day. I came home, exercised, ate my ice cream, and enjoyed shopping on amazon. Overall my day has been pretty amazing. Now I am going to go to bed and maybe wake up to falling snow.

My Day

So, this has been a wonderful day. I went to Church this morning and heard a great message from my very own mother on leaving a Godly legacy. Afterwards, I went to Grandma and Grandads house to eat some food and then enjoyed a wonderful nap. Gram and Grandad came over tonight, just for fun. We had a taco meal and enjoyed a family friendly movie. I am looking forward to no school tommorrow and a day of resting (and probably some work). How has your day gone?
